APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • PROBLEM:
    When we trying to complete receipts of a PO created from MR (MR
    to PR to PO) if there is MR in other site with same MRNUM and
    status= CAN
    
    PERFORMANCE ISSUE: NO
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1) Open Maximo.7.6 with default insert SITE 1.
    
    2) Go to Self Services   Desktop Requisition > Create
    Requisition.
    Create a Requisition (mrnum=123) with 2 line Items.
    Submit MR (mrnum=123, site 1).
    Approve the MR (mrnum=123, site 1).
    Note the MRNUM and PRNUM created from MR.
    
    3) Change the default insert site to SITE 2.
    
    4) Go to Self Services   Desktop Requisition > Create
    Requisition.
    Create a Requisition (mrnum=123, site 2) with MRUM same as that
    of above MRNUM IN SITE 1.
    Add 1 line item to the MR (mrnum=123, site 2).
    Submit MR (mrnum=123, site 2).
    Change Status to CANCEL.
    
    5) Change the default insert site to SITE 1.
    
    6) Go to Purchase Requisition
    Open the PR created from MR (mrnum=123, site 1)
    Approve the PR.
    Create PO from PR.
    Approve the PO.
    Select Action Complete Receipts.
    
    CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT:
    Gets a System message BMXAA2996E - Change status is not valid
    
    EXPECTED RESULT:
    You are able to complete reeipts
