APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Problem Description:
    When DR was created from DR template, its DIRECTREQ flag is 0
    but when DR was created manually, its DIRECTREQ flag is 1.
    
    STEPS TO REPLICATE:
    1) Login to Maximo
    2) Go to Profile > Default Information, and set the following:
    Default Insert Site: NASHUA
    Storeroom Site for Self-service Requisitions: NASHUA
    Default Storeroom for Self-Service Requisitions: CENTRAL
    3) Pick up out of the box item 0G3582 as test sample
    4) Run below query to verify 0G3582 is STK item in ITEMORGINFO
    level.
    SELECT * FROM MAXIMO.ITEMORGINFO WHERE ITEMNUM='0G3582';
    SELECT ITEMNUM,ORGID,SITEID,CATEGORY FROM MAXIMO.INVENTORY
    WHERE ITEMNUM='0G3582';
    5) Go to Self Service > Desktop Requisition > Create Requisition
    Requisition: REQ1017
    GL Debit Account: 6000-200-000
    6) Click Continue
    7) Click New Row under Requisition Line Items
    Item: 0G3582
    Vendor: A0002 (You will notice the store location was cleared)
    Quantity: 1
    Order Unit: EACH
    8) Click Save As Draft
    9) Run query to verify that DIRECTREQ flag is 1
    SELECT
    MRNUM,MRLINENUM,STORELOC,QTY,UNITCOST,DIRECTREQ,VENDOR,SITEID,OR
    GID
    FROM MAXIMO.MRLINE WHERE MRNUM="REQ1017";
    10) Click Create Template from REQ1017
    Template Description: Req Template
    A System Message will prompt: BMXAA2986I - Template 1022 has
    been created.
    11) Run and query to verify that DIRECTREQ flag for template
    MR#1022 is 1.
    SELECT
    MRNUM,MRLINENUM,STORELOC,QTY,UNITCOST,DIRECTREQ,VENDOR,SITEID,OR
    GID
    FROM MAXIMO.MRLINE WHERE MRNUM='1022';
    12) Create another Requisition (testing client's concern)
    Requisition: REQ1017A
    Template: 1022
    GL Debit Account: 6000-200-000
    13) Click Continue
    14) Click Save As Draft
    15) Run query and you will see DIRECTREQ flag for template MR#
    REQ1017A is 0 now.
    SELECT
    MRNUM,MRLINENUM,STORELOC,QTY,UNITCOST,DIRECTREQ,VENDOR,SITEID,OR
    GID
    FROM MAXIMO.MRLINE WHERE MRNUM='REQ1017A';
    

Local fix

  • Flag gets set when MR is approved
