Yellow Power On Light Is Lit on M520

Troubleshooting


Problem

Solid yellow power on light is lit on the front panel of M520, and there is no SRC in the Function/Data display.

Resolving The Problem

The 520 control panel shows a solid yellow light; however, there is no SRC in the Function/Data display.

The solid light means there is a SRC logged in the Hardware Service Manager. To resolve the problem, do the following:

1.From the operating system command line, run the following command: STRSST
2.Sign on the System Service Tools.
3.Select Option 1, Start a service tool, and press the Enter key.
4.Select Option 7, Hardware service manager, and press the Enter key.
5.Select Option 6, Work with service action log, select timeframe to display Service Action Log Report, and press the Enter key.

SRC110000AC is logged for this user because the user disconnected the power cord.
6.Pressing F6, and then pressing F10 cleared the yellow power on light.
