Error description

• During operation of IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS V7.5
  the following message may appear on the DB2MSTR console:
  "Message DSNX881I ... Magneto Issue: ID 1384 Severity: MAJOR
   console_alerts ... SW_NEEDS_ATTENTION...Failed to collect
   status from resource  manager."
  Although the issue is categorized a "MAJOR" there is no need to
  be concerned: the operation of the accelerator does not need the
  IIAS console which can't be accessed due to expiration of a
  certificate used for communication within the accelerator.

Local fix

• Contact IBM support for a renewal of the certificate.
  Once the certificated has been renewed the error message will be
  gone.
  

Problem summary

• The db2 ssl certificate expired on August 20, 2020.
  Since this day customers were receiving message DSNX881I
  "MAGNETO ISSUE: ID 1384 SEVERITY: MAJOR CONSOLE_ALERTS ...FAILED
  TO COLLECT STATUS FROM RESOURCE MANAGER".
  
  
  The resolution of the issue can be achieved in two ways:
  a) Contact IBM support for deployment of the new db2_ssl
  certificate to your current installation of the accelerator
  or
  b) Upgrade your accelerator to maintenance level to 7.5.3:
  during installation the new db2_ssl certificate will be applied
  automatically.
  

Problem conclusion

• Contact IBM support or upgrade your accelerator maintenance
  level to 7.5.3 or higher for renewal of the db2 ssl certificate.
