Error description

  • When running a load using stored procedure ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES
    the load request may hang in Db2 warehouse.
    
    The isssue affects all maintenance levels of IBM DB2 Analytics
    Accelerator for z/OS 7.5 up to level 7.5.2.2. The issue will be
    fixed with maintenance level 7.5.3 by incorporation of new Db2wh
    engine 11.5.4.
    
    For IBM support:
    To diagnose that a load hang is a duplicate of the issue
    mentioned here use the following command during the hang
    situation:
    db2fodc -hang full -member all

Problem summary

  • The underlying issue in the database engine (Db2wh) of the
    accelerator has been fixed. The fix is part of the new version
    11.5.4.0 of Db2wh being delivered with accelerator maintenance
    level 7.5.3.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Upgrade your accelerator maintenance level to 7.5.3 or higher.
