Error description

  • With customization parameter ENABLE_COPY_TABLE_STATISTICS set to
true a reload of a table may result in a restart in a restart of
the accelerator. This is especially true to reload of large
tables with many columns (more than 260). During the processing
Db2Wh generates a RUNSTATS command which becomes very long
(larger than 32K Bytes) for such large tables.
This causes an IDAA server stack overflow. The reload will fail
immediately and the accelerator server will restart.

Problem summary


    

  • The issue descibed was fixed in the IDAA V7 accelerator server.
The fix became part of IDAA V7 maintenance level 7.5.1 made
available on April 22,2020.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Upgrade your IDAA V7 maintenance level to 7.5.1 or higher.
