APAR status

Error description

  • Using IDAA V7 on Z, maintenance level 7.1.9, the GDPS server
    (GDPS: Geographically Dispersed Parallel Sysplex) looks out for
    a system named "single" which is not found.
    .
    The issue will be fixed with maintenance level 7.5.
    

Local fix

  • Logon to the HMCs used, open the LPAR activation profiles used
    for the Accelerator, open the "SSC" tab, and type "single" as
    the new value for the Host name.
    After a re-activation of all LPARs used, GDPS integration will
    work.
    Note:
    With the workaorund described above you cannot run more than one
    Db2 Analytics Accelerator per GDPS server.
    

Problem summary

  • The issue descibed was fixed in the IDAA V7 accelerator server.
    The fix was integrated in the new IDAA V7 release 7.5.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Upgrade your IDAA V7 maintenance level to 7.5.0 or higher.
