This document provides information for downloading and installing Operational Decision Manager Server and Server Express from IBM Passport Advantage Online.

This document contains a list of the Passport Advantage eAssembly installation images for Operational Decision Manager V8.10.3, and instructions for downloading and installing the files.

Samples and tutorials
You must install the Decision Server Rules Samples and Tutorials feature to run the Decision Server and Decision Center samples. Decision Server Insights has its own samples and tutorials.
Disk space requirements
Check that you have enough disk space on your computer to download, unpack, and install the product. You can delete the downloaded files after you unpack them.
To download and unpack Operational Decision Manager Server or Server Express, you need 25 GB of disk space. The full installation requires about 13 GB.
Installing Operational Decision Manager on IBM Cloud Private
To install Operational Decision Manager on IBM Cloud Private, see Installing ODM releases on IBM Cloud Private.
Installing Operational Decision Manager Decision Server, Decision Center, and Server Insights
To install Operational Decision Manager Decision Server, Decision Center, and Server Insights, you must first download and expand the installation files. Then, you select the files in IBM Installation Manager, and install the components and associate them with an application server.

Downloading
Follow these instructions to download the eAssembly repository files:
- Use your IBM ID to sign in to IBM Passport Advantage Online.
- Select Find by part number in the download finder options.
- Use the part numbers listed below to search for your files.
- Download the files to your computer.
Concatenating files
Some of the Operational Decision Manager download files are concatenable repository files. These files are limited to less than 1 GB (1,000 MB) in size to make them easier to download.
You must concatenate these files to use them in Installation Manager. Starting with 00, associate the files in ascending order by using the index numbers of the file extensions:

Using Installation Manager
Follow these instructions to use Installation Manager to install the product:
- Extract the repositories from your downloaded files.
- Start IBM Installation Manager.
- Open File > Preferences in IBM Installation Manager.
- In the Repositories window, click Add repository.
- Browse to one of the extracted repositories on your computer, select it, and click OK.
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 to add all the repositories to the list in the Repositories window.
- Click OK to save your changes and leave the Preferences interface.
- Click Install and follow the steps to install the product.
IBM WebSphere Application Server
IBM WebSphere Liberty is provided as the sample server in Operational Decision Manager. If you want to use WebSphere Application Server instead, use the following eAssembly images to install the server.
