About Fix Pack 8.5.5.15

Announcement:

When updating to 8.5.5.15, any existing profile that uses Java SDK 6 is replaced by Java SDK 8. You can continue to use the optional Java SDK Java Technology Edition Version 7.0 and Version 7.1.  See details for IBM WebSphere SDK Java Technology Edition 8.0 Minimum Supported Operating Systems.

Java SE 6 end of service in WebSphere Application Server V8.5. See details. Hence, Inspur K-UX 2.1 is not a supported platform from WebSphere Application Server Version 8.5.5.14. See details.

Known issues
  • The recommended interim fix for PH10416 (download here) must be installed together with Application Client V8.5.5, Web server plug-ins V8.5.5, and IBM HTTP Server V8.5.5 Fix Pack 8.5.5.15 on Sun Solaris operating system.
  • Due to a side effect of PH02461, configureInterceptor command may initializes the interceptor prior to its configuration.  PH07760 will fix this issue.  See link for details and iFix download.
  • There is a behavior change in java.util.zip.ZipFile.getEntry() from IBM SDK V8 SR4 FP10. With this release, the name of the ZipEntry instance returned from java.util.zip.ZipFile.getEntry() always ends with / for any zip directory entry. To revert to the previous behavior, set the system property jdk.util.zip.ensureTrailingSlash to "false". See here for details.
