Prerequisites for IBM® Datacap Version 9.1.3 Interim Fix 007
The official statements for hardware and software support for IBM® Datacap are provided as part of the hardware and software requirements for IBM® Datacap Version 9.1.3. Before you install this fix, ensure that you installed IBM® Datacap Version 9.1.3. For more information about installing IBM® Datacap, see Installing IBM Datacap. For complete details about the hardware and software requirements for IBM® Datacap, see System requirements.
Installing IBM® Datacap Interim Fix 007
To install the IBM® Datacap Interim Fix 007, use the following procedure:
- Download the 913 iFix 007 package from Fix Central.
- Extract the 913 iFix 007 package.
- Stop running processes - Taskmaster server, IBM Datacap Web Services (wTM), Application Server where applicable, and run the Update.exe file.
- Ensure to load the new version of DatacapWebPlugin.jar in IBM Content Navigator admin desktop.
- Restart all the stopped Datacap processes and Application Server.
Feature enhancements
As part of this interim fix, the following new enhancements have been added:
- Datacap Navigator
- Added a My List feature that you can use to filter only current user's activities. For more information, see My List feature that you can use to filter only current user's activities.
- Enhanced Thumbnail view user settings. For more information, click Datacap Navigator: Thumbnail view user settings.
- Enhancements for the Operator and Stored Operator lists/fields. For more information, click here.
- When switching to a page in the verify client, you can view the first editable field is focused. For more information, click here.
- FileNet
- FileNet Export: Datacap commit to FileNet error handling. For more information, click here.
Notes
- Datacap Web Client
Both the dcim.cab and dctwx.cab files found in "Datacap\tmweb.net\Task" folder are signed. For more information on signed certificates, check Digital signatures tab in Properties window. In addition, included with this Interim Fix are newly signed dcsimage.ocx, dcstwx.ocx, and dctwx.ocx files.

Note for APAR IO26298
If you want to use the Sentiment Extractors of SystemT, you must create an environment variable TEXTANALYTICS_HOME and set the value to the resource folder location of the SystemT web tool.
