APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When issuing a PCF or runmqsc command to define or alter a queue
with command events enabled, if the STREAMQ attribute
(MQCA_STREAM_QUEUE_NAME) is specified on the command, then a
command event message is not generated for the command.

Configuration events are not impacted, and are generated as
expected.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A logic error meant that the expected command event was
suppressed if the STREAMQ attribute was present in the command.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The queue manager command processing logic has been corrected to
ensure that command events are generated (if enabled) when
defining or modifying a queue when the STREAMQ attribute is
present in the command.
