Non APAR Defect 30702 - Transaction instance status not set to slow when the total time is greater than 10 seconds on 7.3.0.1 AIX platform

Non APAR Defect 30706 - AIX ARM32 bit library return minresponsetime value as 0 when minresponsetime value is less than 8 digits in Tracking_Default.xml file

The silent config example file (silent_config.txt) is the default example file shipped with ITCAM for Transactions v7.3.0.1, hence it contains examples for the CICSTX and MQ Data Collectors. These collectors are not shipped with this MDV.

Prior to installation

Check and be aware of all releases of ITCAM for Transactions:

This MDV (IF39) contains a regular ITM upgrade package, and utilizes the standard ITM installation methods; including silent install and remote deploy. However, IF39's APAR only impacted three agents, and only those are included. The agents are:

• Transaction Reporter (TO)
• Transaction Collector (TU)
• WAS-TT (ARM) Data Collector

Installing

On machines where you have Transaction Collector (TU) or Transaction Reporter (TO) agents installed, follow the following instructions:

Performing the necessary tasks after installation

A successful installation displays the following new build number in the Transaction Reporter or Collector and WAS TT Data Collector logs:
Unix : 5934
Windows : 5934
With the exception of WAS TT Data Collector for zLinux that displays:
Unix : 5936
Windows : 5936
Cinfo/MTEMS will report the following agent version:
07.30.01.39
