IBM enters the esports arena with the Overwatch League

New technologies solutions

New technology solutions, co-developed with IBM, will help bring next-level interactive and analytical content to players and fans.

The collaboration between IBM and the Overwatch League will include new technology solutions, built on the IBM Cloud to be launched in the 2021 season. The solutions, currently under development, will leverage IBM’s suite of AI and Analytics tools to process in-match League data. These tools include Watson Studio services (Watson Machine Learning, AutoAI) as well as Natural Language Processing and Watson Discovery.
