Dual robotic accessor

An optional dual accessor helps increase mount performance and overall system reliability and availability. TS3500 Model HA1 enables two robotic accessors to operate simultaneously in configurations from two to 16 frames.

Capacity on demand and flexible upgrades

Provides entry and intermediate capacities in the first frame to grow the TS3500 system as your storage needs grow. Capacity expansion requires only a brief interruption of service while the majority of new frame installation is done while the library is in service.

Compatibility with new IBM LTO Ultrium 8 technology

This tape library supports the latest generation of Linear Tape-Open (LTO) technology, offering up to 30 TB of data storage per cartridge (12 TB native), twice the compressed capacity of the previous LTO Ultrium 7 cartridges.

Control path and data path automatic failover

Automatic control path and data path failover helps support improved continuity and disaster recovery.
