John Granger was recently appointed the Chief Operating & Transformation Officer for IBM Global Business Services (GBS). In this role, John leads the operational discipline and profit performance for all of GBS to ensure the expectations that exist for profitable revenue growth are met. Additionally, John is responsible for the management of the GBS transformation program. John is also the General Manager for the Cloud Application Innovation Growth Platform within GBS. In this role, John is responsible for helping clients’ transform their business with technology at scale with quality, speed and consistency. His responsibilities cover end-to-end enterprise Application implementations (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft and Workday); Cloud Application Migration and Modernization and the Application Maintenance business (AMS). He is charged with building these services across geographies and managing the GBS network of global delivery centers. John also worked out of Bangalore, India for 18 months transforming the Indian delivery centers with the injection of agile, devops, and automation.
