Welcome to Entitled Systems Support

The Entitled Systems Support website (ESS) is IBM's go-to place to access and manage any Power (IBM i, AIX, Linux on Power) and Storage software. This website also gives extended information about Power and Storage hardware and is the portal for Update Access Keys and elastic Capacity on Demand (purchase and provisioning). In general, you can find an overview of most Configured Inventory purchased directly from IBM or through our Business Partners when using the IBM Configurator for e-business (e-config). You can use this website in 13 languages - choose your preferred one under Language selection in the left navigation bar.

ESS is divided into two primary sections:

  • My entitled software - provides all the necessary support for Power and Storage software. Here you can download licensed (Power and Storage) and free or trial (Power only) software media, verify software maintenance records (Power and Storage), place software update orders (Power only) for products with an active software maintenance, manage software keys (IBM i only), view and transfer software licenses, manage customer numbers and generate several types of reports.
  • My entitled hardware - provides support for Power hardware. Here you can manage your Update Access Keys as well as purchase and provision new Elastic Capacity on Demand resources.
