The IBM OMEGAMON products are included with the suite and provide an overview of the health of the IBM z/OS operating system, networks, storage subsystems, Java™ runtimes, IBM Db2®, IBM CICS®, IBM IMS, IBM MQ for z/OS, IBM WebSphere® Application Server for z/OS and Java™ workloads. Detect bottlenecks in code, server resources or external dependencies. Monitor new applications and reduce steps to identify root causes of performance impacts.

Optionally extract critical base CPU utilization and coupling facility metrics available from IBM Resource Measurement Facility reports and visualize them by using open-source platforms (such as Kafka®, Elasticsearch™, and Kibana™). Sample visualizations created for use with Kibana are provided.

Status Display Facility (SDF) updates can be streamed to Apache Kafka, enabling integration with additional consumers through this message-based middleware.
