IBM Sterling Partner Engagement Manager acts as a system of record for all partner data collected. Through an extensive workflow, role-based control and user delegation capability, you can use Partner Engagement Manager for both upstream partner onboarding tasks (contractual and legal processes) as well as downstream departmental document exchanges (promotions and targeted initiatives). Partner Engagement Manager uses RESTful APIs to load on-boarding data collected into IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM Sterling File Gateway or other REST-capable applications.
Trading partner and business user self service
Partner Engagement Manager offers a self-service portal where both business users and partners can self-onboard and self-administer related contact and communications profile information without IT involvement. Partner Engagement Manager offers out-of-box flows and the ability to custom define flows for onboarding and maintenance plus a centralized monitoring of activity progress across a global B2B community.
Sponsor administrators can initiate Partner Engagement Manager campaigns with defined start and end dates. Activities can be shared with partners allowing them to interactively execute Partner Engagement Manager activities on an as needed basis. Sponsors can manage partner relationships by adding them to groups (a collection of individual attributes) or individual attributes and select partners to participate in campaigns by those attributes (Eastern zone, tier1, tier 2, corporate health care providers and retail).
Hybrid deployment options
As a SaaS-based application, Partner Engagement Manager was designed to support hybrid deployment models and can bridge across both on-premises and cloud-based applications. Modular architecture leverages RESTful APIs to enable extensibility while the inclusion of Docker images offers a degree of portability, allowing a given instance of Partner Engagement Manager to reside in a Docker container.
