General information

Overview 

On the general information page, you can view and update general information about your country enterprise including:

  • Status
  • Headquarters location ID
  • Company unique token
  • Company legal name
  • Doing business as name
  • Company URL

On this page the Primary Relationship Contact or the Authorized Profile Administrator can set the option to automatically accept employees who self-associate with the company.

Navigation

  • Select the General information link
  • View or update required general information of your country enterprise
  • Click Save to update

To verify your profile: Check the Profile has been verified field to remove the blue background that displays on the PartnerWorld Profile page.

Checklist

Mandatory fields when updating the Country enterprise general information:

  • Status reason
  • Reason for status change
  • Company Name in Local Language
  • Company full legal name
  • Company URL (please note that this must be formatted as a full name, including the prefix http://)
  • Business model (Business model identifies the primary business that describes how the company operates. If more than one business model applies, multiple types can be selected. In addition, you will be asked to select at least one business model brand. This information is important, since it will be used on the PartnerWorld website when you sign in to display the PartnerWorld offerings most relevant to your business model(s).)
  • Business model brand
  • This profile has been verified

PartnerWorld information

Overview

The PartnerWorld information page contains more detailed information on your company's PartnerWorld level, PartnerWorld level criteria and Software Passport Advantage.

Asia Pacific resellers should also add the customer number by which your distributor identifies you, so that your revenue can be accurately attributed to your company.

You can also add a new country distributor entry from this page.

Navigation

  • On the Country enterprise page, in the Action menu, select the PartnerWorld information link to view details on PartnerWorld level, PartnerWorld level criteria, Software Passport Advantage Information and Distributor customer number in Asia Pacific.

To add a Passport Advantage ID:

  1. Go to the Passport Advantage ID section and select the link Add passport advantage ID
  2. Enter the Passport Advantage ID as prompted on the new screen (the Passport Advantage ID is a ten digit numeric beginning 0007 e.g. 0007123456)
  3. Click Save
  4. You will be taken to a confirmation page and given a confirmation number
  5. Please retain the confirmation number for all future inquiries on the transaction

To add a new country distributor entry:

  1. Select Add a new country distributor entry
  2. Complete the required information as prompted on the new screen, including customer number
  3. Click Save
  4. You are taken to a confirmation page and given a confirmation number
  5. Please retain the confirmation number.

Country enterprise list of locations

Overview

Country enterprise list of locations shows locations within a country enterprise. You will be able to view:

  • Country
  • Name
  • Location ID
  • City
  • State
  • Status
  • Primary Relationship Contact name

A list is displayed if there are fifteen or fewer locations or, you will be able to search for locations if there are more than fifteen locations registered. Please note that the location, which is the worldwide enterprise headquarters will appear in bold text in the table provided.

Navigation

  1. Select "Country enterprise list of locations" link to view country enterprise locations
  2. When you click on this link, either a list of locations, or a search option will display
  3. Select the location either from the actual list, or from the search results
  4. From the location summary table, you will be able to view PartnerWorld summary and address summary information
  5. Once you select a location from the list, you will be able to view and update the profile on the Location page, depending on your access role.

Verified Business Partner Solution

Overview

A Verified Business Partner Solution (previously known as customer experience) demonstrates that your application is installed at a customer site running with IBM products, and Business Partner solution approval will qualify your company for different initiatives and benefits. For more information, go to Membership Levels section of the PartnerWorld Web site.

From Country enterprise list of locations, you can access Verified Business Partner Solution.

On the Verified Business Partner Solution page you can view all Business Partner solution submissions that have been approved in your worldwide enterprise and the programs that the solution qualified for.

Navigation

Click Country enterprise in the left navigator.

  1. Select the worldwide enterprise and country enterprise.
  2. In the Action menu, click Country enterprise list of locations.
  3. Click the desired location.
  4. In the Select window, select Verified Business Partner Solutions.
