Once you have received the authorization, work with your IBM Distributor for any assistance required, including product configuration, pricing and ordering.


  • Access our handy configuration and sizing resources to help you tailor the right solution for your customers’ needs.


  • IBM Express Start Business Partners may place orders with their preferred IBM Distributor up to a maximum of USD 100,000 per 12 months period (USD 250,000 for Hyperconverged Systems powered by Nutanix).

Here is some basic information your IBM Distributor will need to process your order:

Systems Hardware

  • Purchase order
  • Product(s) and quantity
  • End customer name
  • Requested delivery address and installation address (if different)
  • Customer Requested Arrival Date (CRAD) – the date the customer needs to receive the product

Software, appliances and cloud services

  • Your IBM remarketer customer number (as stated in your IBM relationship approval email)
  • Product(s) and quantity
  • End customer name


  • When reselling IBM services, you will work closely with your IBM representative or IBM Distributor, and they will advise on information needed for the specific circumstance.
