She is also the author of Digital Transformation, which published last December with Bloomsbury, and has received international praise for being the first practical 'how-to guide' for achieving real business innovation on a major scale.

Among Lindsay’s projects and inventions has been IBM Instant Checkout, a groundbreaking system that detects shop items without needing to individually scan them, and then enables quick, secure payment. It is an example of how technology doesn't have to replace workers - instead it can free them to interact in more meaningful ways with customers, while empowering them with data insights on predicted fluctuations in critical areas like stock and footfall.

With revealing insights into the commercial applications, myths and limitations of technologies such as AI and Blockchain, Lindsay looks at how they can radically change the world for work. She draws upon her own insider insights leading major change with a diverse set of leading brands, including the UN, Shell, BlackRock, World Wildlife Fund, and the NHS.

Having led many innovation programmes with organisations worldwide, Lindsay talks about how true digital transformation means to become more adaptive to change itself, and that this is more often achieved by transforming a company's culture and ways of working, rather than by imposing complex technical solutions.
