SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PATIENTS TO SELF ADJUST TREATMENTS

Publication Date: 2016-Oct-14

ABSTRACT

We present in this paper a system for patient medical treatment efficiency. We know that Patients under long-term medical prescriptions have to respect a predetermined prescribed protocol (same for all patients). Drugs have a specific profile to deliver their effects and patients offer different reactions to drugs.
Several factors can influence the drug efficiency and the comfort zone feeling can only by defined by the patient itself. No flexibility is allowed and no big data analysis is available about the efficient comfort zone for a given drug.

LEARNING STEPS FOR VEHICLE AUTO-ADAPTIVE SPEED SENSORS

Publication Date: 2015-Jan-28

ABSTRACT

In intermittent traffic jams (start, drive a few tens of seconds and stop), car drivers (accelerating fast and stopping hard) do not adopt a driving behavior that can smooth the traffic behind them (they cannot influence the traffic in front of them).
In this article we present a method to allow vehicles to auto adapt their speed in both the acceleration and deceleration.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MULTI-PERCEPTION COGNITIVE MAPPING

Publication Date: 2014-May-20

ABSTRACT

A method and system is disclosed for multi-perception cognitive mapping, wherein one or more coordinates are mapped to one or more modalities such as, but not limited to, audio and chemical concentration (e.g. smell).

A SYSTEM AND METHOD PROVIDING ITINERARY PLANNING USING MUTLIMODAL, FAVORITE ROUTES

Publication Date: 2014-Feb-25

ABSTRACT

Disclosed is a navigation system that takes into consideration user preferences for routes, route subsections, and modes of transportation to generate a route with the characteristics that represent the user’s favorite options.

NEEDS AWARE AUGMENTED REALITY SYSTEM

Publication Date: 2014-Mar-14

ABSTRACT

Today's state-of-the-art augmented reality (AR) systems for mobile phones and emerging devices (such as Google Glass) focus on the presentation of contextual information based on location, object recognition and data from mobile services and applications.
These systems do not go as far as taking into account the personal needs of the end human user. This publication covers this area and describes how human needs could be incorporated into augmented reality.

PORTABLE GEIGER COUNTER AND WIRELESS APPLICATION FOR DEVICE

Publication Date: 2012-Jul-30

ABSTRACT

Disclosed is a method for communication between a cell phone and wireless Geiger counter. A cell phone application (app) controls the incoming communication and receives readings from the Geiger counter. The Global Positioning System (GPS) in either the cell phone or the Geiger counter is used to correlate the radiation reading to the user’s location.
Maps of individual radiation readings can be made by combining individual readings from one or more sensors. These could be sent to subscribers (e.g., via social network email) to make them aware of local environmental hazards.

SPOKEN AND TEXT DIALOGUE CONTENT MATTER

Publication Date: 2012-Dec-11

ABSTRACT

A method and system is disclosed to automatically generate new questions from previous answers (whether it might be verbal or written message). Current drawback of predefined messages is that their announcement can be too generic and not designed to allow users to have some guidelines or directions with menu/sub-menu that matter.
In addition, tools and systems available today are designed a priori on what callers’ interest may be instead of proposing an interaction interface structured on subjects of interests detected in the posts.

A CENTRALIZED REGISTRY FOR SENSOR DEVICES FOR PROVIDING REQUESTED DATA

Publication Date: 2012-Jul-06

ABSTRACT

A method and system is disclosed to determine a subset of sensors from a set of sensors which are eligible to provide expected data based on their characteristics and availability.

NOTIFICATION SYSTEM APPLICATION FOR DESINATION ARRIVAL

Publication Date: 2012-Jul-19

ABSTRACT

Disclosed is a system and a method for providing a cutomized alarm to a given user based on their profile information when travelling. Profile information may comprise details such as mobility issues, health issues etc and details of any impending trip by the user.
The system and method can also provide alarms to two or more users travelling together, the alarms timed so that both users will be fully prepared to exit a given means of transportation at the same time and place (e.g. by the same door).

PRESENCE DETECTION IN ELEVATOR OUTAGE

Publication Date: 2012-Jul-05

ABSTRACT

A system and method are described which detect the presence of people trapped in an elevator or any closed environment based on the use of multiple sensors. The described architecture depicts how sensors and other means can be combined to determine there is a problem.
This system and method do not remotely monitor a system for maintenance purposes, rather they sense the conditions of the closed space. Any closed environment, such as a submarine or an elevator, can be sensed using inexpensive devices as compared to video devices.

SYSTEM AND METHOD TO ANALYSE MASS DATA COLLECTED BY DIGITAL SENSORS FROM SENSES OF LIVING ORGANISMS AND THEIR BEHAVIORS

Publication Date: 2011-Jul-19
