Yes, You can add guests to Spaces and direct message anyone. Collaboration couldn't be easier with clients or business partners.
Yes! Anyone can create an app and add it to spaces they’re in or submit it for review so it’s available to all spaces. Visit https://developer.watsonwork.ibm.com to learn more and start creating your own integrations powered by Watson.

There are three ways you can purchase Watson Workspace, by credit card in IBM Marketplace or through your IBM sales representative or a business partner.
Both offer the same core collaboration features: group/direct messaging, file sharing, search, custom integrations, open APIs, Watson AI & more. Essentials (and Plus) adds key enterprise capabilities: ·SAML based single sign-on ·Administrative controls ·Managed guest access ·Dedicated support
Authorized users may collaborate with guest users, however IBM reserves the right to restrict the number of guest users available as necessary
Watson Workspace is a highly available cloud native offering. Our business continuity operations couple process with technology and achieve redundancy and availability through continuous monitoring and alerting while operating across multiple availability zones.
Initially, Watson Workspace is hosted and all data is stored in the United States. We are evaluating additional regional data centers. If you have specific data residency questions requirements, contact us at https://help.workspace.ibm.com/hc/requests/new.
Watson Workspace is available in English now. French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazilian), and Spanish are planned to be available in October, 2017. Other languages will follow.
Watson Workspace offers similar messaging capabilities as Sametime, plus, persistent group chat, simultaneous cross device login and sync, collaboration across organizations & built in artificial intelligence.
Users can initiate a direct message in Watson Workspace directly from IBM Verse or via the IBM Connections business card: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSL3JX/whatsnew_2017_08/watson_workspace.html. Additional integrations between Watson Workspace and IBM Connections, are planned.
Watson Workspace includes a built-in Watson Conversation classifier (at no additional charge) that is trained to automatically detect a select number of intents (also known as lenses), such as "actions". Watson Conversation can also be used to extend Watson Workspace with custom classifiers.
