State of Georgia GETS Ready contract 98000-GETS Ready-RFQC-1647-IBM

IBM has been awarded a Georgia Enterprise Technology Services (GETS) contract via the Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) which manages the delivery of IT infrastructure services to Executive Branch agencies and managed network services to 1,300 state and local government entities. IT infrastructure services encompass mainframes, servers, service desk, end user computing, disaster recovery and security.

Managed network services include the state’s wide and local area networks, voice, cable and wiring, and conferencing services.

Georgia Capital Building

Both categories of services are provided as shared services through a public-private partnership called the Georgia Enterprise Technology Services (GETS) program. A Multisource Service Integrator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the delivery of services by multiple providers.  IBM is now one of the providers.

Reliable, secure and innovative IT infrastructure and managed network services are available to state and local government agencies through the GETS program.
