What’s the goal of this kit?

  • Spread the word about this powerful teaching tool

Why is this topic important?

  • Ensuring that elementary and middle school students get the best education that they can is important for building a strong foundation for higher education and career progression later on
  • According to studies from Harvard, RAND, and more, the quality of a teacher is the single biggest in-school factor in student achievement
  • According to Johns Hopkins and The Brookings Institute, a close second to teacher quality in determining student achievement is the quality of the instructional resources being used
  • Teacher Advisor helps ensure:
    1. Teachers save time finding quality resources by coming to a curated site for all of their planning needs, and
    2. Teachers have the context they need to implement those resources effectively for all students
  • Children who are taught well early on can also be inspired to keep learning and being curious. The Teacher Advisor tool helps teachers plan lessons to the best of their abilities, so that students can get the most out of these lessons as well.
