As a manufacturer of regulated electronic products in Canada, IBM has extended producer responsibility (EPR) obligations and is required to be active in an approved product stewardship plan.

Provinces with electronic products stewardship regulations currently include: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland & Labrador, New Brunswick, Northwest Territories and Yukon.
