Environmental reporting, disclosure and verification

IBM's corporate Environmental Affairs Policy calls for the company to publicly disclose information on our environmental programs and performance. IBM's annual corporate environmental reporting first began in 1990 and has continued each year since.

In addition to providing information on our environmental programs and performance in our annual environmental report, we provide a report based on the Global Reporting Initiative and supply information through a number of other voluntary reporting programs and tools, such as CDP, EcoVadis and OneReport.

IBM's environmental management system, energy use and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventories are also audited by a third-party. For more information, see Voluntary performance goals and results, Environmental reporting, Other disclosure and Auditing and verification.
