Arvind Krishna is the Chairman and CEO of IBM.
As a business leader and technologist, he has built new markets for IBM in AI, cloud, quantum computing, and blockchain and has played a key role in the development of innovative IBM products and solutions.
Over his 30-year IBM career, Arvind led many bold transformations. He led the $34 billion acquisition of Red Hat, the largest software acquisition that has defined the hybrid cloud market. He previously was SVP of Cloud and Cognitive Software.
Smith is CEO and founder of shift7, a company working collaboratively on systemic social, environmental and economic problems.
Award-winning entrepreneur, engineer, and tech evangelist. Smith served as the third U.S. Chief Technology Officer and Assistant to the President from 2014-2017. Prior to that, Smith spent over eleven years as vice president at Google leading new business development where she managed early-stage partnerships, pilot explorations and technology licensing across the global engineering and product teams. Earlier, Smith served as CEO of PlanetOut, an LGBTQ digital media and community company in the early days of the Internet, and pioneered early smartphones in the team at General Magic.
She holds a bachelors and masters from MIT and completed her master’s thesis at MIT Media Lab. She is a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and National Academy of Engineering.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley as the first Head of Cybersecurity for Wealth Management, Rachel spent 15 years at the National Security Agency where she served as the Head of Counterterrorism Operations, the Chief of Operations for the UK, and finally the Chief of the Remote Operations Center where she ran cyber exploitation operations for the US Government. Now, Rachel runs cybersecurity, data protection, and fraud prevention for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management.
An award-winning senior journalist, Vijay Vaitheeswaran has held multiple key posts for The Economist including US Business Editor and China Business Editor. Vijay is currently Global energy & climate innovation editor and leads The Economist’s coverage on climate and green infrastructure efforts and keeps a watchful eye on ESG trends.
Vijay is also chairman of The Economist Innovation Summit, a provocative series of global conferences on innovation, and he is an advisor to the World Economic Forum-Davos on sustainability and innovation. His latest book, Need, Speed and Greed: How the New Rules of Innovation Can Transform Businesses, Propel Nations to Greatness, and Tame the World’s Most Wicked Problems was named an Amazon Book of the Month and called “the perfect primer for the postindustrial age.”
Dr. Darío Gil is IBM Senior Vice President and Director of Research, directing innovation in hybrid cloud, AI, quantum computing, and semiconductors, among others. He is a member of the U.S. National Science Board; and serves on the President’s Research Council of the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research, the MIT School of Engineering Dean's Advisory Council, and the boards of the Semiconductor Industry Association, the New York Academy of Sciences, New York Hall of Science, and Research!America. Dr. Gil holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
