Today most business users have a rich and complex inventory of reports, dashboards and analytics tools on multiple data sources. But many still struggle to make data-driven decisions. The encompassing issue is that they have lot of information points but not much data intelligence to make a decision based on available data. Hence they are forced to use their business instinct/acumen to arrive at a decision that might have a huge business impact. This risk and consequence of making decisions based on incomplete information is reflected in business emotions: we don’t have single version of the truth, a unified solution is missing, insights prelude intelligence, and what is our data strategy?
