Bridget van Kralingen leads IBM Global Industry Platforms, delivering disruptive cloud-based solutions that advance key industries and establish IBM as leader in blockchain. Industry Platforms has Financial Services offerings that help Banks and Financial Markets firms contend with rising regulation and reduce spend on risk and compliance processes. It has established a core Insurance processing platform with MetLife and Majesco. These capabilities are on the IBM Financial Services cloud, complemented by industry specific APIs, data and analytical models. Bridget’s team has contributed to the open source HyperLedger Fabric, created a high security IBM Blockchain Platform for clients to build and operate blockchains, and have more than 400 enterprise blockchain engagements.

Founder and CEO, The Plastic Bank

David is founder and CEO of the Plastic Bank, the world’s only organization to monetize plastic waste, providing an opportunity for the worlds disadvantaged to collect and trade plastic waste as a currency. David is the recipient of the 2017 United Nations Lighthouse Award for Planetary Health, Named by Salt Magazine as the 4th most compassionate entrepreneur in the world, the Entrepreneur Organizations Global Citizen award recipient, and has been featured in over 300 global media articles.

Marie Wieck

General Manager, IBM Blockchain, IBM

In her more than 25 years with IBM, Marie has held a variety of technical and executive roles in IBM's hardware, software, and services units. She is passion-ate about innovation from diverse teams and driving business impact from new technologies.

In January 2017, Marie was named into her current position as general manager of Blockchain, which is poised to transform business processes and transac-tions. Marie is responsible for IBM’s participation in the Hyperledger project and in building an open blockchain ecosystem for developers and service providers, and to create and run enterprise blockchain networks and solutions.

Marie holds an M.B.A. from New York University, an M.S. in Computer Science from Columbia University and a B.S. in Engineering from The Cooper Union. She is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).

Frank Yiannas

Vice President, Food Safety, Walmart

As Vice President of Food Safety, Frank Yiannas oversees all food safety, as well as other public health functions, for the world's largest food retailer, Walmart, serving over 200 million customers around the world on a weekly basis. Frank’s scope of responsibilities includes food safety oversight of Walmart’s stores, Neighborhood Markets, and Sam’s Clubs. Training and education of Associates, food safety oversight of thousands of food suppliers,and a number of critical regulatory compliance issues also come under his purview.Prior to joining Walmartin 2008, Frank was the Director of Safety & Health for the Walt Disney World Company, where he worked for 19 years. In 2001, under his tenure, Walt Disney World received the prestigious Black Pearl Award for corporate excellence in food safety by the International Association for Food Protection.

Wesam Lootah

Wesam Lootah is the CEO at the Smart Dubai Government Establishment.
A committed and talented Emirati, Wesam has more than 18 years of experience in strategic leadership positions where he has leveraged Information Technology to create innovative channels and Smart Government infrastructure to improve the quality of public services for citizens, residents, visitors and businesses in Dubai.
Wesam has worked in both government and the private sector in high profile organizations. From 2009 to 2012, Wesam was Vice President, Information Technology at World Trade Centre where he led the transformation of IT through a number of initiatives including the implementation of sales force automation, CRM, and ERP implementation.
Prior to that, he was Director, Information Technology at Emaar Properties. During his time at Emaar, Wesam led the global rollout of sales automation and ERP across Emaar subsidiaries. This included countries such as Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Canada.
