For the women gender in particular, she believes, need to ‘be vocal’ to be heard. Siew Choo understands that there’s a small pool of female mentors in banking technology, so she encourages her male colleagues, the other 80% of technology staff, to be mentors as well.

For the generation of women who are entering the workforce now, her advice is that this is the time to seize the moment, grab the opportunities to pursue what you are passionate about and have no doubt about the Impact you can make. She once said that the technology is there, so the people need to be able to re-imagine how we deliver our services, Customers will use your services if you're adding value.
