He has worked in developing Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP). A TIP  gives an organization the ability to move faster then the speed of threat in combatting fraud,   AML, insider, cyber , stakeholder protection and threat discovery.   Mike's has extensive experience and expertise that includes industrial control, business intelligence, enterprise process design , business strategy, and technical opportunity realization 

Previously Mike was a senior global product manager for Smarter Cities, where he played key role for delivery of product based solutions for world cities. Mike has a honours degree in Electronic / Electrical Engineering from Trinity University Dublin and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Open University.  He has written papers, red guides and has spoken around the world on what “human lead intelligence”  can achieve and is considered to be one of IBM’s foremost forward thinkers on this subject.

Karan Bajwa is a business leader with rich experience and expertise in driving transformation across the IT and Telecom sector in India as well as in the Asia Pacific region. Karan is currently the Managing Director of IBM India Pvt. Ltd and the Regional General Manager for India South Asia. He is responsible for all of IBM's sales, marketing, services and delivery operations in the India/South Asia region, including Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. In addition, Karan also plays a key role in enabling capabilities across IBM’s global missions in India, including research and innovation labs. Karan took up this role in 2017 with a mandate to make IBM the number one Cloud and Cognitive solutions company in India/South Asia.

Tracey Dedrick joined the Board of First Bancorp Puerto Rico in January 2019. Ms. Dedrick is a former Executive Vice President and Head of Enterprise Risk Management for Santander Holdings U.S., where she was responsible for enterprise risk, operational risk and market risk for the Americas. Prior to this role, Ms. Dedrick was Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer at Hudson City Bancorp from July 2011 until November 2015 where she had additional responsibility for information security. From January 2010 to February 2011, Ms. Dedrick served as the Treasurer of PineBridge Investments, an asset management company with $83 billion in assets under management. Prior to this, Ms. Dedrick was employed by MetLife, the largest insurance in the United States, where she served as Vice President and Assistant Treasurer from June 2001 until July 2004, Vice President and Head of Investor Relations from July 2004 until July 2007 and then served as the Senior Vice President and Head of Market Risk from July 2007 until September 2009. Additionally, Ms. Dedrick currently serves as a board member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (“ISACA”), the Royal Shakespeare Company of America and the Royal Oak Foundation. As board member of ISACA, Ms. Dedrick is member of the Finance Committee and Chair of the CEO Selection Committee.

Over several years, leading business journals such as Fortune (International Edition), Forbes and Business Today have recognized her as one of the Most Powerful Women in Business. She is an Economics Graduate from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. She also has an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University, India.

Tariq held the CISSP credentials for a decade consulting firms on their security and resiliency needs across cryptography, security incident and event management, network security, business continuity and disaster recovery. Currently, Tariq is focused on Cyber Incident Recovery, Resiliency Orchestration and Automation, DR as a Service and Backup as a Service.

Vikas is responsible for sales of all IBM Cloud, Security and Cognitive portfolio across IBM India and South Asia, and leads Hybrid Cloud Integration, Data Platform, AI, Security Software, Security Services and Cognitive Applications (Blockchain & IOT Platforms) businesses. Vikas has close to 30 years of experience across Cross Geography Business Leadership roles, IT Services Business, Telecom / Service Provider business and Cloud Computing. During his career, Vikas has worked in several geographies including Europe and APJ and led large teams and charters in India and across Asia Pacific & Japan.

Previously, Vikas was the General Manager of Professional Services Delivery, Dell EMC Asia Pacific & Japan. He oversaw implementation, consulting and operations management and residency offering across Asia Pacific and Japan managing a 1,000+ strong, multi-cultural team. Prior to that Vikas served two years in EMC India successfully leading the company’s services and product pre-sales engagement with customers and partners. Prior to EMC, he worked at Microsoft India and led their Microsoft Consulting Service (MCS) and Premier Support business. He later led Microsoft India’s foray into the Telecommunications and Media & Entertainment verticals and led the first Cloud offer launches and cloud syndication services in India during 2010.

Before Microsoft, he also co-founded STG, an IT distribution, training, and consulting startup, and managed the company’s software development/consulting portfolio in both India and abroad. Vikas’s journey into IT services began in Tata Consultancy Services where he served as a developer and Systems Analyst in BFSI and Defense projects in UK and India. Vikas has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and loves reading and theater.

Geeta Taraporewala, the IBM Security Technical Vitality Development Manager (TVDM) is responsible for establishing and driving technical talent progression of high-potential candidates; ensuring visibility and opportunity, as well as tangible developmental actions for technical talent with a specific focus on increasing diversity in the technical executive population.

She is also in the WISE Leadership team and leads the Mentoring Program.

Geeta has worked for IBM since 1999, in New York, Boston and now currently in Raleigh, NC. She is a very technical person and worked as an Architect. She has also served as Program Manager for Client Advocacy.

Before taking on the TVDM role, Geeta was the Professional Development Manager (PDM) for IBM Security. In this assignment, she had responsibility for a variety of professional development and talent management areas including mentoring, training/certification, skills planning and management, and career guidance for the IBM Security Early Professional new hires.

She is known for her focus and passion for innovation and continuous improvement in people, process and products and loves taking on new and challenging assignments.

Jaideep Mehta is the CEO, News Corp Mosaic Digital. He joined the company in October 2017 to set the company on a new, accelerated growth path. He is an advisor to CEOs and business leaders of investment and tech ecosystem. From macro-economic trends to technology disruptions, and market and industry analysis, he has blogged, written and presented on a wide range of topics.

Prior to his current role, he was Managing Director - IDC India and South Asia. Under his leadership, IDC India was conferred the CIO Choice Award for “IT Advisor of the Year” three years consecutively in 2014, 2015 & 2016. Jaideep has been awarded the “Patrick J McGovern IDC Entrepreneur of the Year 2015” for consistent excellence in leading the South Asia team to success and “Leadership Award for Contribution to Market Research” by the World Marketing Congress in 2014.

Before IDC, he was based in London, UK and worked at Gartner for over 5 years where he was Regional VP, Sales & Business Development – EMEA and prior to that, he spent more than 2 and a half years in the Indian outsourcing sector, most notably at Zensar Technologies where he spearheaded the set up to their Financial Services practice in Europe. During the late nineties, he was in the software sector.

Jaideep is a graduate from the Shriram College of Commerce, Delhi University and holds an MBA degree from the Manchester Business School, UK. He enjoys reading, the occasional game of tennis and driving to remote parts of India.

Vaishali is a Managing Partner  with 20+ years experience  in litigation and non-litigation practice. Vaishali earned her degree in computer science and worked as a systems analyst and programmer ( C and assembly language) for more than 5 years. She worked on several software development assignments in India and abroad ( Switzerland) which included developing simulators , TSR utilities and smart software interface including some basic AI principles.  Her area of practice is Civil and Criminal Law including general commercial matters , employment law , family law , banking , consumer protection with special emphasis on IT, E-commerce Law and Cyber security , Data Protection and Privacy , IPR in cyberspace and Cyber Crimes. She is the country’s first technology lawyer with prior working experience in the field of IT and specific qualifications on IT law from prestigious universities.

Vaishali has represented leading companies, banks and individuals in cases of  data theft , security breach , unauthorized access , IP infringement, Social media or website related crimes, online defamation before the Adjudicating Officers in Mumbai , Delhi and Hyderabad, Mumbai High Court and the Cyber Appellate Tribunal in Delhi. She was also appointed and consulted as special counsel by Pune Police on some complex cyber crime cases.  She is a special retainer to several national and multinational companies and banks on cyber security , policy and compliance. She is also the approved legal counsel by the British High Commission

Dr. Anjali Kaushik is a Professor at Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon which is one of the premier Business Schools in India. Apart from being a MBA and a PhD, she also has a Post-graduate Diploma in Cyber Law & Cyber Forensics from National Law School of India University, Bangalore.

At MDI, Gurgaon she is the Chair for the Center on Cyber Security which is into capacity building of cyber security professionals under the National Cyber Security Database program and conducts a cyber security fellowship programme for IAS, IPS officers and CXO’s.

She belongs to the first batch of Lady Officers in Indian Air Force, and is a Chevening-Oxford Scholar.

She is empanelled as Lead Expert on Cyber Security with Ministry of Communication and IT, Government of India.

She was the Principal Investigator for a project “To deliver the Information Security Assurance Framework for e-governance projects” for Ministry of Communication and IT (MoCIT) Government of India. She is author of a book Sailing Safe in Cyber space on cyber security and has written a series of articles in national and international journals on cyber security and privacy related areas.

She is a regular speaker on cyber security and privacy related themes and has been a part of the Indian delegation on Cyber Dialogue to multiple countries.

Dr. R S Panwar

Lt Gen (Dr) R S Panwar retired after 40 years of active military service in the Corps of Signals, Indian Army in Apr this year. His last appointment was Commandant of Military College of Telecommunication Engineering, Mhow, which carries out training of officers and soldiers in the fields of ICT, electronic warfare and cyber operations, and is also the designated centre of excellence for the Indian Army for these disciplines. The officer holds M Tech and Ph D Degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and has been conferred with the coveted Distinguished Alumnus Award of the same Institution. He holds a Master of Management Studies degree from Osmania University, Hyderabad and is a graduate of the prestigious National Defence College. He has also attended a special one semester Cryptology Course at Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. The General Officer has commanded a wide range of units and formations, including an Armoured Division Communication Regiment and an Electronic Warfare Group, both with operational tasking in the desert sector. He has provided communications and electronic warfare support for conventional as well as counterinsurgency operations in the entire Northern Theatre, including during the peak militancy period of the early 1990s. He has also commanded two logistics formations, responsible for provision of logistics support and rear area security to field formations in the complete South Western and North Eastern Theatres respectively.

The General Officer is a recipient of several awards by the President for distinguished services in the Defence Forces, and has also been awarded by the Department for Defence Production for R&D work.
