Budget management

Budget management includes acquiring funds through funding sources, estimating projects cost, and tracking those costs.

Funding sources
Funding sources are budgetary resources for programs and projects. Funding types include grants, bonds, federal or state awards, private donations, or internal money that is allocated for a company or an organization.
Original budget estimates
You prepare the budget estimate before the start of a project. In the project level of IBM® TRIRIGA®, after you select a project, you can go to the Budget page. During project lifecycle, when you estimate a budget, you can create project original budget records, anticipate the changes and forecasts of a budget, and transfer and reassign budgets.
