Learn how to use AIX® or Linux commands to
determine which side of the service processor you are booting from.
Note: In most cases, you will be running on the temporary
side.
- Issue the following command at the AIX or Linux command prompt:
lsmcode
Note: If the lsmcode command
does not work at the Linux command
prompt, you need to obtain the service and productivity tools for Linux.
- Record the information that is displayed. You will need
this information later in this procedure if you need to change the
boot side. The information that is displayed is similar
