accept, reject Command
Purpose
Accepts or rejects print requests.
Syntax
accept Destinationsreject [ -r Reason ] DestinationDescription
The accept command allows the queuing of print requests for the named Destinations. A Destination can be either a printer or a class of printers. To find out the status of a destination, run lpstat -a command.
The reject command prevents queuing of print requests for the named destinations. A destination can be either a printer or a class of printers. To find out the status of a destination, run lpstat -a command.
If you enter accept
-? or reject -?, the system displays the
command usage message and returns 0.

| -r Reason | Assigns a Reason for rejection of requests. The Reason applies to every specified Destination. The lpstat -a command reports the reason. If it contains blanks, Reason must be enclosed in quotation mark. The default reason is unknown reason for existing destinations, and new destination for destinations that added to the system but not yet accepting requests. |
