You can use the IBM® MQ Console to add, view,
delete and update coupling facility structures on z/OS®
queue managers.
About this task
The coupling facility structures view lists the coupling facility structures that exist for a
specific queue manager. You access Coupling facility structures from the
sidebar on the queue manager Queues tab.

Procedure

To add a coupling facility structure:

From the queue manager view, open the Queues tab, and click
Coupling facility structures.

On the Coupling facility structures screen, click the
Create
button.

Provide the required information for the coupling facility structure that you are
creating.
By default, the minimum recommended properties that you need to provide values
for are displayed. You can view all of the available properties by selecting Custom
create.
- Click the Create
button. The new coupling facility structure is created.

To delete a coupling facility structure:
- Click the row or select View configuration from the
Options menu next to the coupling facility structure that you want to
delete.

In the Edit coupling facility structure view, click Delete coupling facility
structure.

Confirm that you want to delete the coupling facility structure by clicking
Delete. The coupling facility structure is deleted.

To view and edit the properties of a coupling facility structure:

Click the row or select View configuration from the
Options menu next to the coupling facility structure that you want to
edit.

Click the Edit button

Edit the properties as required. If the property text box is disabled, the property is
read-only, or can be set only at the time of creation.

Click Save to save your changes.
