OAMS Administration Utility
Before outbound FIN messages are sent, they are stored in the outbound application-message store
(OAMS). Sometimes it is necessary to:
- Obtain the status of messages in the OAMS
- Delete messages from the OAMS
For example, if the SIPN is interrupted while urgent FIN messages are pending, you might choose to send these messages to SWIFT by an alternative method, such as by Telex. However, unless you also delete these messages from the outbound application-message store when a LOGIN command for the LT that is to process the messages is executed, the SIPN FIN service sends them a second time, without possible duplicate emission (PDE) indicators. To avoid this, use the OAMS Administration Utility to remove the messages from the outbound application-message store before issuing a LOGIN command for a Logical Terminal (LT) .
