Lotus Notes 8.5.3

How can I find out when my Lotus Notes certificates will expire?

Find out when your Notes, and other certificates, expire.

About this task

To find out when your Lotus Notes® certificates expire, choose File > Security > User Security (Macintosh OS X users: Lotus Notes > Security > User Security), click Security Basics, and refer to the "ID File expiration date" under "Who You Are." To find out when your Internet certificates expire, in User Security click Your Identity > Your Certificates, choose the types of certificates you want to view from the drop-down list, select a certificate, and refer to the "Expires" date below the certificate.

Note: A warning for an expiring Notes user ID is automatically sent out to users whose ID certification is expected to expire within 90 days. The warning states "One or more certificate authority certificates in your Notes User ID are expiring. This problem requires administrative changes to the Domino directory. Contact your Domino administrator if the problem is not resolved by [DATE]". Default Lotus Notes IDs are certified for 2 years.
