To secure IBM® i Access for Windows communications sessions, you can configure your IBM i Access for Windows to use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).

Using SSL ensures that all traffic for the IBM i Access for Windows sessions are encrypted. This keeps data from being read while it is in transit between the local and remote hosts.
