The following information is a summary of the updates that are made to the AIX 7.1 documentation:
- Updated the description of the -z flag in the sort command to include the buffer size value.
- Updated the IBM Electronic Service Agent information. For more information, see the What's new section in the corresponding section.
September 2018
- Added information about the -C flag in the mksysb and alt_disk_mksysb commands.
August 2018
The following information is a summary of the updates that are made to the AIX 7.1 documentation:
- Created and updated the following topics and commands:
- Added information about flash devices in the Caching storage data topic.
- Removed the OpenGL 1.2 Reference Manual topic from the IBM Knowledge Center.
- Added information about installing IBM DB2 before installing the IBM Directory Server in the Configuring the IBM Directory (LDAP) to store System V print information topic.
- Updated information about the nominal processor speed for the system in the pmcycles command.
- Updated information about setting up a system as an LDAP security information server in the following topics.
