Security configuration and security hardening
Learn more about security configuration and security hardening.
RQA
performs security hardening by:
- Performing extensive software scanning to identify and resolve the compile time, and runtime vulnerabilities.
- Ensuring that the data in transit is encrypted by using Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2.
- Encrypting the persistent volumes.
- Deploying the IBM® Common Licensing behind your firewall as communication with the IBM Common Licensing server is not encrypted.
- Using valid Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates at the time of installation.
Also, it's important to harden the worker nodes to secure your environment. You can harden the worker nodes by using the CIS Benchmarks and hardening RedHat OpenShift®.
