Resolving issues with automatic refreshes
If automatic refreshing is not enabled, users do not see their changes immediately or changes that others make to an investigation, such as new notes or relationships.
Symptoms
When a user first logs in to the IBM® Counter Fraud Management, application, the following message is displayed:
Automatic updates are currently not available. Until your Administrator resolves the issue, you must manually refresh a page to see updates.
Other symptoms include the following symptoms:
- A new note is not displayed in the Notes dialog box immediately after one was added.
- The Relationships link in the Details page is not active after a relationship was added.
Causes
Resolving the problem
- Log out of the IBM Counter Fraud Management application and close your browser.
- Open your browser in a new window.
- Enter the following URL in the
browser:
https://icfm_server:6883/Where icfm_server is the ICFM server name, such as core.1.host or core.3.host.
- If you are prompted to accept a certificate, accept it. The steps depend on the browser that you use.
- When the IBM Messaging page is displayed, enter the URL to the ICFM application in the browser address bar in the same tab or window where you entered the MQTT port URL. For example, enter https://icfm_server/cfm.
After you authenticate to the MQTT port, you see updates automatically while you are logged in to the application in the browser session. You might need to repeat this procedure for a new session.
