CHECKSUM Statement

The CHECKSUM statement is a TCP/IP configuration file statement that instructs the TCPIP virtual machine to reenable TCP checksum testing on incoming messages, if it has been disabled by the NOCHECKSUM statement.

The TCP/IP module’s default configuration is to verify checksums, so the CHECKSUM statement is rarely needed.

The CHECKSUM statement has no operands.
