Generated Surrogate Bidding Templates

Both supplier and buyer organizations can use automatically generated templates to enter bids on RFQs, reverse auctions, forward auctions, RFIs and RFPs. In Emptoris® Sourcing, both buyers and suppliers can generate these templates. The templates differ slightly depending on the kind of RFx and on whether the user is from a supplier or buyer organization.

A buyer generates a bid template for surrogate bids by clicking the Export button on the View and Manage RFx(s) page. In the dialog box that is then displayed, you can select the Get bid/response import template option. After you click OK, Emptoris Sourcing prompts you for a name and a file format for the Excel bidding or response template. After some processing, the template will be available for downloading.
