Web tracking settings
Use web tracking settings to track visits to your website, link this data to Acoustic Campaign, and target contacts based on the web pages they viewed.
To see these settings, which must be enabled by client support, go to Web Tracking Settings under Organization Settings. See below for information on each web tracking setting.
Qualified domain
Add any qualified domains that you want to enable for tracking. Qualified domains can include the first/primary domain, second-level domain, and a third-level domain.
Authorize a first-level/primary domain when you have only one website or you are interested in looking at visits/traffic to your site or sub-site.
Authorize your subdomains (second- and third-level domains) if you need to report or act on the sites separately. For example, you might want to apply behavioral scores on different sites, such as your blog site (www.blog.mysite.com) and your primary domain (www.mysite.com). In this case, you need to authorize your primary domain and any subdomains.
Custom web tracking events
After you add your qualified domains, you can create custom web tracking events.
These events give you a detailed look into a contact's behavior. Each time a contact clicks an event, Acoustic Campaign recognizes and tracks it.
Web tracking code
To enable visitor tracking, copy and paste the Web Tracking Code into the header or footer of your web page.
