Valid states for hdisks and pdisks
Disk arrays and physical disks have several operational states.
States for disk arrays (hdisks)
There are six valid states for disk arrays.
States for physical disks (pdisks)
There are five valid states for physical disks.
pdisk descriptions
The pdisk description indicates whether the disk is configured as an Array Member, Hot Spare, or an Array Candidate.
