Data Analysis Workspace

To access the main workspace page, on the Public Folders tab of IBM Cognos Connection, click Information Governance Dashboard, and then click Data Analysis Workspace.

The workspace has a global filter pane on the left and a content pane on the right. You can open and close either pane by clicking the triangle on the vertical edge of the pane. The global filter pane sets the scope of what is displayed in the workspace. Global filtering is provided to filter all report widgets on projects, hosts, databases, schemas, tables, and columns. The filter choices cascade from higher levels to lower levels and show the data in the workspace when you click Apply Filter.

You can add other charts and reports to the workspace by dragging them from the content pane on the right. You can drill through many charts and reports to access further details.

The workspace includes pages for analysis summary, column summary, and analysis details. The Analysis Summary page is displayed by default. Click the buttons on top to navigate to other pages.
