Table 1. Columns in the HOLDDATA table
Column Description
++HOLD DATA ++HOLD statement that was received for the HOLD reason ID. This column is blank if the HOLDDATA entries for the corresponding SYSMOD were not found in the global zone that manages the source software. Typically, this occurs when:
  • The SYSMOD and HOLDDATA were purged from the global zone using SMP/E V3R5 or earlier. In this case, to view the HOLDDATA, receive the SYSMOD again and rerun the HOLDDATA Delta report.
  • The target zone is connected to a global zone where the SYSMOD was not originally received. In this case, to view the HOLDDATA, find a global zone that contains the SYSMOD and view or list the HOLDDATA in that global zone.

After you view the HOLDDATA, complete the steps included in the ++HOLD statements. If you do not complete the steps, errors might occur when you activate the target software instance.

Type Type of ++HOLD. The value is SYSTEM (indicates a system hold) and USER (indicates a user hold). If this column is blank, the HOLDDATA entries for the SYSMOD were not found in the global zone that manages the source software.
Reason ID HOLD reason ID. If this column is blank, the HOLDDATA entries for the SYSMOD were not found in the global zone that manages the source software.
