Enhanced language standards

IBM® Open XL C/C++ 2.2 for z/OS® supports up to C++20 language standard features with extra capabilities to the existing standards.

Following is the list of newly supported language standards and the enhancements to existing standards:

  • C++20: Introduced support for the C++20 language standard.
  • C++17: Aligned variations for the new and delete operators.
