Bottleneck Analysis Reference (July 2024)

This reference provides information about the Bottleneck Analysis component of the OMEGAMON® for IMS™ on z/OS product. Use the Bottleneck Analysis component to analyze the performance of your IMS environment and identify causes of slow response time.

Bottleneck Analysis information can be viewed by using the OMEGAMON for IMS Classic interface and the Tivoli® Enterprise Portal. You can also access the data directly through the OMEGAMON enhanced 3270 user interface.

The Bottleneck Analysis reference describes how to start and stop the Bottleneck Analysis collector. It also describes commands that you use in the OMEGAMON for IMS Classic interface to control data collection and display the data.
